I've been into this girl for some time now but I never made a move because I wasn't confident enough, two years pass by and I've been able to get her into me again.

But the problem is my close friend likes her too and asked me to see if she likes him because he thinks I'm still in the friendzone with her but there has been sexual tension between us recently.

I don't know what to do because he's been my friend since birth, and I don't want to ruin that friendship but I also really like this girl and I want to start a relationship with her.

Should I be straight up with him and tell him I like her or lie and say she told me she doesnt like him.
