I need some advice. I've been working on my confidence for the past few months, and I've gone from terrified to approach to bring able to talk to pretty much anyone I want. But I still have no idea how to go from a friendly conversation to asking for a date. I've done a few cold approaches before, so I'm not asking about that, but how do I turn a casual talk with a cute girl at, say, a reception desk into a date?

Again, I'm not asking because I'm intimidated, I just don't know what logical steps I need to take to get from A to B. Novice stuff, I know.

I've been out of the dating game for a couple years for various reasons, so I'm pretty much just winging it. I'd like to have a little method to the madness so I don't make a stupid mistake.
