4 Approaches

4 Instagram closes

​

This was on a Wednesday night and since the exams are done at the Universirties the town was dead. I opened one set at each venue I went to. I took my friend Henry with as Yogi and Liam had other plans. Now Henry is a man that had it all and lost it all. He is now a fellow chode. He never did research about game before or practiced it so I knew my wing won't contribute. That was not a problem because my goals for the week is to approach 20 women, of which I already had 6 behind my back for the week. Also Henry said he won't be approaching just want to see me in action.

The first set I opened was a 3 set. Two were seated and one standing. The girl standing was bonkers, Henry think she was on some heavy drugs. Although she was crazy she had a fun vibe on her and the other two ladies was a bit shy. I was jokingly walking away and coming back. Her stating "Oh you thought we will just jump into your arms and you can take us home ?" I would reply with "A man can dream, can he not ?" laughter all around. Apparently it was a work function going on and they are from a company called MPC. It was still around 8pm and they were not really my type so we bounced. Me and Henry grabbed a glass of water sat down, drank it and left as there were literally no other sets I found attractive.

On to Ridgebacks we went. This is always the bussiest place in my town but not that night. Once again no proper sets to open but one. I went over and told them "We lost our friends somewhere we will find them in a few but until then you are our new friends." So we start talking I cold read their jobs which I was horribly wrong. Joked that I wanted to become a psychic but my dreams are crushed now. Ladies enjoyed it. Eventually we took a seat next to them. Poor Henry still not speaking a word but listening. I made a inappropriate joke and instantly the friend was turned off by me. Was kinda a sexist joke, said "Me and Henry are roommates. I am the woman in the relationship, I clean the floors, wash the dishes and bring him beer". She replied " Oh why should women do this job?" I told her "Don't look at me if anything you should be scolding at Henry". She was pissed but my target was laughing so hard so I did not care. 

This is about the time Liam messaged me saying that his party is boring and he wants to go out. Now I wanted to leave for Pretoria (about 20 km away from home), reason being it is student central and also I was hoping Pretoria is much busier then my town as it is bigger. I told Henry we are going there and he objected, he is on standby and should be close to home when shit goes down. I dropped him off and took a ride. 

This is where it hit me. I have made so much progress in the few days of approaching. From where my friends had to push me to approach to a point where I am starting to do this on my own. Liam told me he is busy with a set and then he will join up with me. I arrived at the strip. Now the Strip is a street that has three different clubs close by. People move a lot between them but that night the place was like a graveyard. I went into Jolly and saw a two set. My first set off the night that was actually really hot. My target was a black head with a tanned skin and really big and round glasses (I dig nerdy girls) and her friend a red head with beautifull brunette eyes. They were sitting in a very loud environment. 

I opened with the "I lost my friends routine" again but this time I sat down imediately without asking. My target (Katey) had no real interest in what I was saying and kept quite almost through the whole interaction though Nicole was reciprocating well. Laughed at my jokes, cold read her for studying psychology turns out she is studying to become a teacher. Told her she seems dangerous and that I won't want to be in her class. Also spiking positive emotions saying I like how fierce she comes off. I decided to change targets but I still had to deal with Katey. I joked around with her as well also cold read her studies  turns out she wants to become a vetenarian. I knew a few people that studied it so we conversated about the subject. Saw Katey was getting frustrated so I instagram closed both of them before she could cock block and I left. I saw Liam asking if it was worth it to join up or should he pull. I told him to pull and forget about joining up.

The last set for the night was the best and funnest one for the night. Since strip was dead I moved to a pub/club called Aandklas. I arrived and would you know it. Everyone was busy with quiz night. Just my luck. No moving sets, everyone already emerged into the host's questions and wittyness. I walk around for a good 10 minutes before I decide to leave. Outside two very attractive ladies were standing and waiting for their uber. I walked over and said "Yes, good idea, this place is dead". The red head responded with "Yeah, we wanted to party not answer questions". I replied with " I agree and my general knowledge sucks" this time I really put work into my tone and paused before saying sucks making the impact of the joke much better and they instantly lit up. I asked if they were best friends and they said they knew each other from school and I asked "So you have done the best friend test" this is something Yogi teached me and it works amazingly well. 

The red head was not really paying attention to me so I started flicking my fingers to grab her attention. I raised my voice "Hey, you with the pretty blond hair I am talking now. Get off your phone" she replied with "Its not red its blond." I said "Must be the lighting, which is good otherwise you would see my pink hair more brightly" she cracked up and I got her attention. I did the best friend test and they surpassed it with flying colors. They loved it, I am telling you lads playing games with your sets helps SO MUCH! I threw spikes at my target (Red head) while still keeping the obsticle happy. Their Uber sadly arrived and I instagram closed both of them. The best part was while I was walking away I could hear them saying "What a cool guy, that was so much fun". Happily I decided its late and should get to bed as I am working tommorrow.

I started keeping my set's attention much longer

I don't need my friends anymore to help me (Sorry Yogi and Liam)

I approached a set in a loud environment (Sticking point of mine)

3 Negatives

I prematurely eject out of the set (It is going well but I leave) 

I don't really know how to isolate my target in a 2 set. 

I am still afraid of approaching mixed sets (Guys and Girls)

What I learned. 

Opening a set with a real time constraint can have a lot of value in it. I got two real decent instagram closes out of it.
