Can I ask a potentially ridiculous question? We're told not to put women on a pedestal, I get that, no one wants to be forced to the top simply for being who they are.
So why is it media completely disregards that notion entirely with the whole 'women are queens' shtick?
Like adverts, online posts, music videos and so on, all of them aim to make women out like they're goddesses and then wonder why all they get is desperate horndogs at their door?

Maybe this media is aimed at women, stay at home moms watching TV, women who do the shopping for the household. Women also spend more money on clothes etc. “You’ll feel like a queen if you use this product” etc.

Yeah i’m a woman and usually don’t like this whole “girl boss” thing (when pushed to an extreme) but haven’t found out why it came up either.
