Just ignore her for awhile. Women have a hard time making up their minds, she may be temporarily ghosting you until she discusses it with her friends.

That makes sense. I didn’t have the best reputation in middle school and towards the end of high school. I’m not on social media as much and there isn’t much you find about me unless you’re a close friend of mine.

Don't think too much into it. Ignore and next her unless she actually engages you and makes definite plans. Women are like this. If you put them on a pedestal and overthink it you'll come off as needy.

I agree. Maybe waiting a week or so to text isn’t too bad. Thoughts?

Contact her in a week after no contact or unless she reaches out to you first to make plans. Don't make the mistake of acting mad/tight about her not reaching out to you. Come from a mindset of abundance and she will pick up on it.
That sounds ideal. Thanks.

Funny, not the same exact situation but I see old high school classmates that brushed me off back in school are eager to smile and give hugs/shake hands and talk. Idk if it’s a maturity thing or they see me smiling and having fun with a new group of friends, but it’s an awesome feeling and pretty wholesome.
Not many girls from I’d want to bang from high school anyways, as attractive as they are. I guess I just want to meet new people outside my social circle. But best of luck to you OP, just don’t be needy I guess

Did you try making these plans when you were still at the bar? If not, then the lesson to learn here is strike while the iron is hot. You should have made plans to see each other again ASAP that very night.
[–]1BadDayAway 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
I tried. She told me she had to stay with her friends that night then we agreed to catch up some later time.
Hate to break it to you, but she’s probably not too interested in you, otherwise she would put in some effort by now. Next girl.

Read: White-Hot Attraction Manifesto. (50 page)
I don’t find it very interesting, except for the part that learn you that girl that you already know, got a different point of view from girls that you are trying to know.
In fact, if you want to open with a girl that you already know. You have to change her mind before build your effort.

Nah. Don't wait a week, dude. She'll know it was due to advice. Get back to her in 3 days and then expand the gap if continually left hanging.

Expand the gap if continually left hanging? How many times can you be left hanging before you realize she isn't interested? How will she know that a week was due to advice and 3 days wasn't?
I wouldn't engage again. She said she was busy without suggesting another date/time. Then round 2 she didn't even respond. I wouldn't say anything unless she does first.

Well I guess you know better than I do. I'll take the advice.

Text "...?"
It's not needy, it's entitled. Todd Valentine talks about this. Comes from a high value frame, you expect people to respond to you.
If after that, no answer, move on dude.

I wouldn't say anything. Would you not respond to someone if you were interested in that person?
Saying "oh I'm busy now but let's do it tomorrow or some other day" is one thing, buy just saying "I'm busy" or not even responding is another thing. I'd move on unless she says something.

So tell me, why is moving on and letting the interaction die better than trying again? Sometimes these things take work.
[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
She isn't even putting in any effort of any kind. Why do I need to chase a girl who is completely ghosting me? She could atleast say hey let's do it another time. You're not letting the interaction die. Clearly she is.
[–]svesrujm 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Because you're male (approach and pursue) and she is female (abundance of suitor options). That's just how society operates, son.
If you're fine to let the interaction die, then do so. Depends where you are in life.
Look at the alternative. You don't text her back. She never text you back. The number and connection dies.
It's needy if you approach it from a needy frame. It's entitled if you approach her from entitled frame.
Interesting take on it.
