Just like the title says. How do you guys respond? I'm torn between two possible responses - make up a white lie about "my friend who actually just left" for reason xyz, or just own it and say yeah. The latter could actually segue into a spiel about the state of my friends circle, blah blah blah, possibly a good convo topic. But also possibly sounds weird. What do you think?
