I picked up a few numbers this week on my way to work. As we were in subway and I really had to get out, my interactions were quite short, almost direct, but girls seemed happy, enthusiastic to give the number, no persuading was necessary.

Is it better to call or text to pull them out for a coffee date? I tried sending a "feeler" text related to the context in which we met (the book she was reading etc.), as Krauser suggests, but get no responses. But it is easier to fuck up while calling... Any advice?
