Guide to storytelling?

Most seduction systems address this topic to some degree. I'll list a few sources that influenced me.

The book Magic Bullets talks about storytelling and specifically shows how to use conversation to move the seduction forward. Mehow has some good info on how to deliver compelling stories, using dramatic pauses for emphasis at times when you can create an emotional response. Zan Perion talks about how to do an "elevator pitch," or a "movie trailer version of you" in less than one minute. And then there is the classic Mystery Method DHV storytelling concept, he always demoed a story about "my stripper girlfriend phoned me for help when she got followed home from work."

Watch stand up comedy. Incorporate things that they do into your story telling. The start, the delivery, the wrap up.

I also feel that it is a value thing. Do you want to hear a story from somebody of high value, or somebody of low value?

Revelation (Mystery) has some story work in it.

Oh, you want to to TELL them. I help clients with that. Ok...Ill skip over creation and give you some tips on telling stories: You already will have descriptive language (visual, kinesthetic, auditory, olfactory, etc), but you also need to use body language (hands, facial expressions, etc) and voice tonality/expression (delivery). Timing is important too. It helps if you study body language to use appropriate body language yourself and to read how people are reacting to your stories (body language, micro expressions of emotion, etc.

You could probably learn a lot from watching movies as well, but watching how people tell stories in movies. Improv training usually helps too.
