What I do give a fuck about is the teasing band of thigh between skirt and boot. Same reason that stockings and high socks do it for me.

If done classily, THAT is shit that I just cannot ignore.

There are very few items of clothing that I find actually interest me - it's usually how they hide/show/exaggerate the woman underneath that interests me.

I've never understood the attraction to inanimate objects that some people have, but each to their own I guess. Some guys like to fuck car exhaust pipes...whatever.

Well, as your BF, I do like boots a LOT.
I'll try to describe how it works for me, in case you're interested:
First, not every pair of boots has an effect on me, I would say knee-high and above (otk and thigh-high that fit right) do the trick.
Now, having said that, I don't like to look very much at girls as objects, because I don't want anyone to feel uncomfortable. I'll check their pair, think if it was a good choice for their outfit, if it's a good pair of boots and that's it.
With my partner, after a while, we had the 'kinks talk' and I just told her. After that, she would try some that were inside of the group I liked the most, but more importantly: that she would wear and like. And I'd buy them for her.
Watching her wearing them is awesome, it feels completely different from seeing another woman wearing boots, because it's her doing it. I'll be a bit more over her, but not that much more as usual, because I think it's important to compliment your partner and make them feel good whenever you can and not just because she/he is doing something that you like that much.

Absolutely. But bear in mind the effect that they are designed to have: to draw attention to that part of the body. They are designed to make men look at you from the ground up, so there's no point wearing them unless you want to advertise your lack of clothing elsewhere. A short skirt and revealing top are the best combo. It confuses the male brain and we tend to get overwhelmed about where we are supposed to be looking.
