Disclaimer: I am about to break up with my BF with a MAJOR boot fetish. Still, I feel like I learned something from this relationship and need opinions.

I live in a mid-sized town in the Midwest, so things might be different in big cities. Maybe I am too conservative, but I always thought high-heeled knee-high boots or OTK boots were too much until my BF bought me some (he's got some serious boot fetishes and just can't stop buying me pairs after pairs).

As I started wearing them more often thanks to him, I get this feeling of uhm...empowerment? Aside from many compliments from men and women alike, they just make me feel better and confident, especially the ones with high heels (can't stand in there too long...I don't know how other women walk all day in them). Not that kind of feeling from pretty dresses or elegant pumps, there is just something more to it. It's hard to describe but I do like the nice, soft leather or suede encasing my legs, coupled with extra inches of height and, on top of all, UNLIMITED attention. Maybe all these factors compound the empowerment effect. My BF is a fucking boot freak, and he would literally slave himself away and kneel down to bear hug or kiss, caress my booted legs whenever he could. I always thought it was just him, but I got this feeling that it may not be...

I noticed guys just can't stop ogling my 4-inch heel suede thigh-high boots whenever I rock them. Yesterday, I had a coffee with my friend at a Starbucks and I sat cross-legged in my thigh-high boots. This guy, maybe in his 40s, across our table just couldn't keep his eyes off them.

Funny to say this, but I keep thinking of that Indian girl from the Good Wife who wears killer boots all the time.

What do you say, guys? Any comments from ladies with similar experiences are also welcome!
