I am all over on this post and just have a bramble of thoughts going on, try to bear with me!

Today I was thinking about assuming attraction. I understand fully what is meant by the phrase and how it is very valuable, but looking at it from a newbies prospective it can be misused and be applied incorrectly. It could possibly actually hurt your chances.

For a normal guy this is great, it helps with AA, confidence, and getting the girl to like you but;

Think of a typical afc.(I'm going for worst case scenario for effect) Fat, bad haircut, terrible style, not many friends, bad self esteem, no skill with women, bad AA.

Now he finds this site and learns about assuming attraction. A guy like this can't just go around pretending to act like everyone loves him. Looking at it like this the idea doesn't make sense. A guy who is attractive or has some skill can benefit from acting like this, but I can't imagine a guy I described above pulling this off. You can't just go up to someone and have this type of personality, your only exprerience and knowledge is from here and just assume the girl will love you.

Its not realistic, it won't succeed and most of all uncalibrated. I am definitely not saying we should stop using this but it should be explained more or used as a more advanced method.

tl;dr Just telling AFCs assume attraction WON"T work! I am terrible at explaining but I can back this up in the comments. Lets have a discussion and hopefully learn and further the community
