Yes you can.

it says not to text and use facebook but thats how I talk to most of the girls.

I don't think "don't text/Facebook EVER" is what the rules actually say. I think it's more of a situational thing. Your game shouldn't focus too much on text/FB messaging, as most of it should be face-to-face. Texting/FB messaging is OK for short communication, building attraction between the times when you're meeting her.

Fuck everything you read about not texting and Facebook or whatever. Most of the people writing material for pickup/game whatever are stuck in the mentality of picking up women in clubs, on the street, etc. Truth be told my last 10-15 lays came from Twitter/Facebook/etc. You can apply many of the same concepts to online/phone game. Just find what methods work for you.

One of my favorite simple tactics is find a recent picture a girl posted on Facebook. Normally like 20 other dudes will be commenting about how cute she is or whatever, but you do the opposite. Not saying "hey, you're ugly", but the delicate art of the neg. Like if it's a picture of the left side of her, say "I like your other side better", or something like that. Believe me, it will make you stand out to the girl that would otherwise ignore you.

But that doesn't mean to neglect in person game. You still need to find out where they hang out and talk to the girls in person. Like for instance there's a coffee shop by my house where lots of high school girls tend to hang out during the summer and all the time they run into dudes they went to school with and conversation ensues. Read up on day game go from there. Also applies to the mall, grocery store, any place you might run into girls in your age range. Night game will help you if you go to all-ages concerts, etc.

Quite obviously, not everything that's said here applies to all age groups. But the principles are quite easy to apply in whatever situation you are in:

Where do females of your age go if they want to meet guys (or enjoy themselves in a mixed crowd)? (Part of why "clubbing" is mentioned in the FAQ is that (a) it's a place where females go when they want to enjoy themselves in a mixed crowd and (b) you always meet new people, which means that you can talk people up without fear of being rejected,and (c) unlike school, the social network is not persistent and it's less likely that you are on the receiving end of ugly talk-behind-your-back).
Can you recognize if a gal is interested in you? (Try to get a good sense for it, without shying away)
If she is, try to picture the context of the current situation (i.e., her friends around her, or family, or whatever). Can you move to a situation/context where she would be more comfortable with you? Either by moving right away (if acceptable, i.e. you'll get cockblocked if her friends don't want that to happen) or by coming up with some neat idea for a next date.

Also, keep some ideas for possible dates in mind (i.e., be current on what concerts, trips, exhibitions, younameit, to go to in the current week in your city).

I actually read a seduction book in high school and it helped me out TONS with girls. Just apply what you read to the setting you're in. The book I read taught me a ton about game and I was able to apply it when talking to girls. Just having a little bit of game game in high school will do wonders for you because nobody has any. I'm just now getting back into "seduction" and I'm remembering how much it helped me back then. Once you get out of high school it will most likely be harder, so apply as much of the advice on here to your own life and have fun.
