Hi there. How's everyone doing? I've been trying harder to put myself out there but it's proving to be difficult. I have had no luck online dating and don't have a huge online presence, so I have been trying to approach in person.

I've been working and also going to events/ activities for the past few months. I meet new people every time and it's usually never all the same people at these places. Sometimes I will only ever see these people once or twice.

I've only gotten 1 number and 1 date that didn't go well. One said No and another never messaged me when I gave her my number. I felt like the conversations and vibes were going well in most of these situations. Lately, I just keep missing the chance to even ask them out or for a number. I'll usually wait for good timing to ask to feel natural, and next thing you know, the night is over and they have already left. The problem is I will only meet some of these people once. Any tips or advice? Am I misreading just being nice as chemistry?

Is it purely a numbers problem and I need try to market/ close more? Thanks in advance.
