If you're just going out and practicing, STOP thinking in terms of "I'm going to talk to that girl because I want to have sex with her, but not with that one so there's no point of approaching." If you're working on defeating your AA and building your game in general, spend the next couple of months without going out with the expectation of sex. The next couple of months should be purely for approaching EVERYBODY. Mixed sets, large groups, unattractive girls. If you ever catch yourself thinking "I can't/dont want to approach that group" then you now MUST approach them. The unconscious mind is tricky and can sometimes convince you that you're not going to approach because you don't want the set, when in reality it's because you're afraid to approach the set. Approach every set and push each set as far as it will go, even if you're not interested. Get the number just for practice texting and building comfort on the phone. Go on a day-2 just to get practice setting up dates. Go for the kiss close in every set just to develop the spider-sense of when it's appropriate to kiss the girl. If they're all practice sets for the next little while, your AA will go down since you're not going to afraid of failure, and you will develop the skills you need MUCH quicker.

There's an apparent spectrum when dealing with PUA. It's like:

Neediness<------------------------->Not giving two fucks completely

You need to find a middle ground. Of course it's important (tantamount, even) to have a great time. But if you want to get any tier of closes (#/K/F), you have to give something that could be construed as a "fuck".
