So without sounding too vain, I've recently become more attractive. Long story short, I got out of a long-term relationship with a girl, got back to the gym, got a new hair cut, and got back into my own personal style. Basically, since I've no longer got regular access to a woman/tail, I'm doing my damnedest to fix that.

While I would consider myself to be a new PUA, I'm not here asking for AA tips, instead, how should I reply/react to compliments/looks?

As of now, if I see a girl eyeing me, I usually just play it off, maybe keep walking towards her, but don't engage. I'd like to smile, but I often see some creepy image of myself doing so in my head. For some reason I think my typical "stoic" look does myself justice, which I'm sure it doesn't.

And with verbal compliments, I tend to just react like: "....mumble...thanks" instead of really smiling or giving a girl a compliment back.

Any sort of way to approach these situations without seeing too aggressive or saying too much?
