I've been invited to a party this Saturday, and it's going to be the biggest house party I've ever been to.

Due to my being an awesome nerd for years, I haven't gotten out much until recently. Anyways, there's around 50 people for sure, with almost 40 on the fence, and a couple more hundred who haven't RSVPed yet.

I have maybe 4 acquaintances at this party. The guy who's hosting it, a kid I know from school, another girl from school, and a girl who's friends with the host that I've met once. I rarely see any of these 4, if at all, and beyond them, I know nobody there.

This is exciting and also daunting all at once!

So, my first thought was to think of party game strats and formulate a plan. So far, my plan consists of arriving slightly early, getting to know whoever's already there first (especially the host) to build some (social) proof. From there, I guess I might introduce myself to the next people who walk in, but I haven't taken it that far yet.

This is crazy. Guys, any tips or advice? Much appreciated!
