Hey guys, I've been around haven't been around the seddit community for too long... maybe 2 months or so.
Well recently, I've been going out and being able to talk to people. I've really gained a lot more confidence and have been working on myself as a person having value. So for starters, thanks a lot.
However, with all of this, I still feel really awkward touching another person. Like I'll be talking to a girl, and she'll playfully push me, or she'll playful grab my throat or tickle me.... and I just sit there like a fucking brick. I seriously have no clue on how to fix this. I just laugh it off until I stop being touched.
On the inside, I can't imagine myself touching another person. The thought of me touching someone else is just like... it doesn't feel like me. I've always kept my hands by my sides. I've always been taught keep your hands to yourself at all times. How can I break this? Is there anything that can change my mindset and inner game? I want to be able to reach out of this comfort bubble that I've created for myself, but it just feels to far out of my comfort zone that it'll just be extremely awkward and people would feel that it's forced -- I just feel like I'd be noticed as not being genuine; especially if one of my friends saw me, because they'd be like, "Wow, that's really out of his character."
Thanks for your guys' time.
