Full Blank Edit:

I'm going to clear this because there is some personal information, but I feel this situation is under control now. I'll summarize and explain my solution.

My girlfriend was really drifting apart in the past month. Not only had physical contact almost stopped but she actually met someone new. Luckily this "new guy" hadn't gotten anywhere past what I consider our relationship boundaries, but it was pretty close. He is also a out of towner and not a sufficient real world threat. He has no physical access to her, so I don't really need to worry about it continuing too much.

About a week ago I was sure she was going to leave me. She moved some of her stuff back to her brothers place and had moved home.

My house was littered with her stuff, so I told her that I did not want to break up and have to look at all her stuff. I said that she needed to actually break up and we stop talking, or we could go back to dating and work on the relationship.

She thought it was a bit to much to actually move out and pledged to give it the month at least and see where it goes.

Throughout the week I was still really confused. She was giving me very mixed messages. I could tell she missed me. She stayed home every second night (part of the "rules" of our rekindling is that she spends every second night at home).

On friday, I took her out on a date. Not a regular date but the kind of date I would go on if I wanted to guaranteed seal the deal. We went out for dinner at a good thai restaraunt, her favorite kind of food. I went outside my comfort zone and took her to a contemporary dance show, and then we went for coffee and finished it off by going to watch Looper.

I pledged to her that I would do my best to keep our relationship fresh and strong and make her fall in love with me new every day I see her.

By the end of the night we had some wonderful sex and communication and she actually "dumped" the facebook crush she had met the week before. I saw over her shoulder messaging him on facebook explaining "that she loved her current boyfriend too much, and that he just caught her in a confusing time".

Luckily, I feel like I really dodged the bullet, but remember to KEEP SEDUCING. Do new and exciting things and keep your relationship a adventure. If you stop or get into a rut.

A big part of it I think was also downplaying the other guy. I told her yesterday that I'm not jealous of him at all, and that it just wouldn't be a fair fight to compare a brief infatuation with the two years of love that we've given each other. I said even if it was a fair and level playing field, I feel that I would likely win anyways because hey, I'm fucking awesome and "winning".
