I assume you haven't yet been on any dates yet? Or am i wrong?. My answer below is for the scenario that you have not been on any dates:

Unless you are pretty sure her feelings for you are strong - confessing your own feelings is premature and will usually turn her off and lead to an outright rejection.

This is why it's usually better to invite a girl out on date first (go an few dates first and test the chemistry) and ONLY then can you confess your feelings for her once you see that this is going well and her feelings for you are growing too.

Men tend to fall faster in love than women. So by confessing you can seem over-eager, needy, Low value, and desperate - from her point of view. Because she will typically need a bit more time to figure out if she likes you that deeply. And women usually prefer to figure that out over a few dates first.

But if you have already been on a few dates and she seems enthusiastic about you - then by all means it's a very sweet gesture!

Confession won't change her feelings. If she has none or little affection for you, it can even backfire on your future chances. Instead make her fall in love with you with your attractive masculine traits and providing lots of emotions and sexual tension.

The “confession letter” is so 1960’s-1980’s. But apart from being outdated, imagine this:

You’re gonna meet her and talk to her. Then hand her the letter. You can’t feel there’s something wrong? Like why don’t you talk to her verbally about it when you see her? Yes in old Hollywood or even Bollywood movies there’s gotta be some scenes where in her room, the girl will smile reading the letter then put it against her chest and start falling in love. Then she will start dancing for full 10 minutes celebrating her feeling. So romantic. But when did it ever happen in real life?

And confession? Wtf is that? Did you do a crime? Just show her your interest verbally and physically.

You’re hesitant because it matters, not because it’s wrong. Hand her the letter. Best case? It opens a door. Worst case? You walk away with your head high and your balls bigger. You already won by being brave enough to feel something. Now seal it by doing the thing. No regrets. 5:30. Go.
