I’ve had a crush on this girls for a long time and want to know how best to get her.

First, this is my first post on this sub let me know if it belongs somewhere else.

Both me and the girls I like are freshmen in highschool. I know we both love running cross country, we made varsity together so that’s something we have in common. We also love track which is going on right now, we both are put in the same level of practice intensity so we see each other a lot there.

I also know we both are pretty smart, smart enough that we are both in diff classes but are not known for being smart.

On a popularity scale we both are at the same-ish level. she’s the kid who most people know her name, who her friends are, that she’s nice and very quiet.
I’m the person who is friends with lots of people (sport kids, smart kids, video game kids, etc.) but I only have 5 friends I talk to regularly and I’m also nice and quiet. But everyone knows my girl cousin who is really popular. Me and her are like sister and brother so her friends know me well.

I know both me and her are very kind to others (don’t get in fights, hold doors, listen to our parents, never misbehave in school) I never curse and I’m pretty sure she doesn’t either.

Recently I’ve had the feeling that she likes me but I can’t tell. We don’t have any classes together but see each other in the hallways everyday at the same time. We also have the same lunch and usually sit near each other. I also see her every day at cross country or track for 30 min and then sometimes while running. Lately at track I think I’ve seen her looking at me for a bit. Idk maybe just my imagination.

physically she is super cute. She has an adorable thin nose, light brown eyes, perfect teeth, very light blonde hair, tan skin (but not too tan), she’s probably 5’4 and I like shorter girls, she has a perfect form.

Other info: she has the same sense of fashion that I do, we both wear regular sweat pants and a tee shirt/ sweat shirt everyday. I know she isn’t overly using makeup or anything. The one time we had to dress up for school she looked stunning. She isn’t a diva and is foreign to drama. I know she’s always relatively happy I don’t think I’ve ever seen her mad or sad. She has a beautiful name. I’m pretty sure that no one else likes her. I don’t know if she knows I like her.

The only reason I haven’t tried to make a move yet is I know nothing about her really as a person. Like I know her distantly but I don’t know her interests, I honestly barely even know what her voice sounds like!

I would really like to get to know this girl better and I need your help to figure out how to get closer to her. Social media is out of the question ( I don’t use it and I’m pretty sure she doesn’t either). I know neither of us are the type of person to just go up and ask someone out without getting to know them better. I know for sure I’m not looking for anything sexual with this girl, just to get to know her and become her boyfriend.
