Hey seduction,

I'm going to try condense about 13 years worth of history into a few paragraphs, so bear with me.

An old significant other of mine and I have just gone through pretty extreme, individual break ups over the last two months, and you know how it goes when you seem to gravitate towards someone of old when things go 'wrong' in your separate lives. Anyway, we've grabbed coffee a few times over the last couple weeks, vented to each other about the situations we've been through, reminisced about old times, and I can't help but think to myself, gosh; I hate that she's going through this, life's hitting her hard, and I just want her to feel better.

She is self-employed, and mentioned the other day that she has the next 2 weeks or so free away from new clients, and now that she has a break, I'm thinking of sending her certificate ($200) to a spa to hopefully let her relax, recharge and move forward from the crap she's been going through. When we first connected about a month ago, I sent her some flowers with a card, and it was very well received.

My only hesitation is that, while when we speak to/see each other every 2-4 days, it feels like we are both what we needed. However, the breaks between our communication happen because of her 'flighty-ness' so I try not to push that (no double texting, multiple calls, etc.) and only reach out every few days, but mostly wait for her to initiate contact. Would any of you interpret me sending her this certificate as needy? I totally feel needy, because at the end of the day, this is the 'one who got away' (which she jokes about too) and I would ultimately want nothing more but to re-seduce this woman back into a relationship as the 28-30 year olds we are now, and see if there's substance behind the irony that we're in each other's lives again after 8 years.

Thanks so much for your advice!
