How can I deal with competition?

First off, competing for women is something you should never do.

Stop belittling yourself mentally for random women. They're attractive, but...so the fuck what? You have to normalize each woman in your mind until they prove they're something different.

The other problem is that you generally need to be more social. You have anxiety approaching women because of you marginalizing yourself internally to them, and because the only times you're social are when you want to cold approach.

If you want to get better at cold approach, you have to get better at being social

Me I’m the same way.. but only with over attractive women.. and that makes me not attracted to them. Like I hate the feeling of being 1 of many and I see a lot of guys trying to talk to one girl it’s like a turn off.. not that it’s her fault.. but I prefer women that are attractive to me but not everyone else.. if that makes sense but at the same time With that type of girl I don’t care about competition. I always want to set my self away from the rest.. I want to be the polka dot zebra in the bunch.. so what advice I would give is still be yourself but just think outside the box and if you take them out.. do something you know they have never done.. but just be unique and not the average guy. Of course your not going to get every girl. But you will stand out in their mind
