What everyone else does is fumble around in the dark, have their self esteem ride highs and lows, have a phase where they manipulate women to get into their pants, and then maybe somewhere along realize women are human beings.

If you'd like to skip all that nonsense, here are some books I recommend:

"Models," by Mark Manson. Recommended to me by a friend who also went through all the dumb phases and read all the shitty pick up books. It's a really mature approach to interacting with women and attracting the quality matches you're actually looking for.

After models, read some stoicism and learn to be the best version of yourself. "Meditations," by Marcus Aurelius is everyone's favorite, but the narrator for the audio book put me to sleep. "Letters from a Stoic," by Seneca is my personal favorite.

If I were you, I’d pay for some escorts, take them on a date, and go home and fuck them. In your own mind, convince yourself that you actually dated these girls. During those “dates”, you can ask them questions (you are paying them obviously), so what do women like to talk about, what’s a good way to do this or that, etc. Also when you get to the bedroom, ask them to show you a thing or two about eating pussy, etc. Don’t be shy.

Second, do this in this order. Find an expensive hair salon in your town where a lot of hot young women work. Book an appointment with one of them and go and get your hair cut. Spend at least $50 on it. Ask them to give you the type of haircut they’d give their boyfriend or whatever they think will make you look sexy. Make sure you ask them for a sexy haircut.

Second, go online and look up local stylist who can help curate outfits for you. Again, try to pick a young hot woman if you can. Pay her and go to the closest high end department store and spend a few hours shopping for clothes. Tell her that you recently got out of a relationship and are kind of clueless about fashion, outfits and in general looking sexy and that you want to go back into the dating game and need some help. Again, make sure you specify that you want to dress well for dating and not work or stuff.

Whatever clothes she licks for you, buy them all. From shoes to sunglasses and underwear. Buy all new stuff. Throw out your old clothes or never be seen in public with them. Start wearing your new clothes all the time. Let them become your new uniform. Don’t go home and dress like a nerd and walk around like a nerd and only dress nice when you have a date. So it all the time, so your brain starts accepting the new reality that you are a quality guy who knows how to dress and look sexy.

How you meet women will be up to you. Apps, bars, meet ups. I’d say do it all. Go out and practice. Consider it a science experiment. Don’t focus on success, focus on the process. Split it in small chunks. Say hi, smile, have a chit chat. Keep pushing the boundaries.

If your friends are nerds and losers, do not go out with them. You will all drag each other to the bottom like crabs. If you can’t swim don’t try to rescue a bunch of people who can’t swim either. Look out for yourself first. I always went out alone and had more success like that than going out with friends who were too shy to even look at a girl.
