So I'm pretty in tune with the intricacies of pickup but I've had a gf for awhile and we recently broke up so I'm a little rusty. I met this girl who is really great and I would like to see her more than hookup but in the past I've become too attached, not in a creepy way but to the point where my emotional investment was more than hers and then it doesn't work out and then I'm pissed at myself for focusing so much on her. How do I avoid this? Obviously I can't be hot and cold forever but how long should I wait to give more emotionally and likewise what do I do in the meantime? Should I just keep gaming other girls and focus very much on my own personal life? I haven't ever been one to have multiple gfs but I definitely don't want to set myself up for failure here. Any advice in this area would be awesome, thanks bros.
