I guess it's important to not get locked in your head and focus too much on what you have to do. Instead pay attention to the girl, create good atmosphere, stay close to each other, laugh etc. As you have not really established any romantic context yet, it's important to form that personal connection, to feel there is clearly something more there. If you eventually manage to introduce that highly positive and ecstatic mood, you can go for some more direct moves like getting slightly physical etc. But it's essential to make escalation gradual, relax and enjoy getting to know this girl and finding out how she feels about you.

Are you meeting to study or do you BOTH actually call it a study date? Also always go for the hug, I've not had one girl so far say no to it and it establishes physical contact early on.

Are you sure that this is a date? If not, I would recommend just using this time to get to know her better. Ask her questions about herself, try to make conversation with her, throw in the occasional joke. The goal of doing this is 1. To see if you two have any talking chemistry, 2. To gauge whether or not she likes you and 3. If you have enough in common that you think she's a good fit.

Signs that she does or doesn't like you like you:

Conversations that feel forced or one-sided is bad news. With people we have natural chemistry with, conversations flow naturally. On the other hand, if you're having a hard time talking to one another and conversations feel forced, that's a sign that she's either not interested in you, or you two don't have enough in common. If this is happening to you, I would advise you to let her go.
Pay attention to her eyes and facial expressions. When we're around someone we like or we're trying to impress, our eyes and facial expressions tend to be more animated and typically mirror the other persons. When we DONT like someone, the eyes and facial expressions wont be animated at all. Also pay attention to her tone of voice which one again, tends to be more animated when we're around someone we're comfortable with.
She doesn't laugh at your jokes. When you tell her a joke, if her face remains in the neutral pose, that's bad news. If it's just one time, it's not that bad, but if it's multiple times, that's bad news. You don't want to date a girl who doesn't find you funny anyways.
If you have this information (you may be able to find it if you stalk her social media) look at her past boyfriends. If all of her past boyfriends tend to look the same, such as being tall and broad shouldered, that could indicate that she has a type and she places a high importance on looks. This is bad news if you don't look like her exes. In contrast, if all of her exes look different, that could indicate that she's more open minded, and emotional connection is more important than physical connection.
If a girl doesn't like you, she will give off hints. She will mention her boyfriend 10 minutes into the conversation, she will tell you she's not looking for a relationship, or she'll talk about other guys she's seeing or wants to date. She may also subtly or not so subtly indicate this is merely a platonic setting.

Don’t overthink it if she knows it’s a “study date” not just a study session/ getting help in something she’s actually stuck on, it’ll be just like a regular date but you’ll have the books to look at while you think of the next move/ thing to say. Flirting shouldn’t be something other people tell you how to do; tell her if you find her cute, compliment her ideas, etc. if you guys actually have a deep conversation and you feel that you’re out of ideas think of Style’s 3 magic questions but try to say it in your own words or sth don’t copy paste.
