Find a wing. Create systems to keep you accountable. Go after the girls you really want to.
All the other stuff is good to do for you, but nothing is really going to make you better other than approaching. Acclimate yourself to it.

Rather than having to constantly make correct decisions every day just create a system that takes care of it for you.
For example...
Create nonnegotiable actions you need to take so you don't have to DECIDE each moment whether to do it or not. If you simply follow the system you've laid out you will automatically progress no matter what.

Not really, most of my friends are in a long term relationship. And the ones that aren't just as, or even more awkward. The people in/around my social circle that DO, in some form, succeed with women, do it by being a huge dick most of the time. Which is something i try avoiding.

The kind of guy who would throw his friends/wingmen under the bus whenever he gets the chance. You probably know the type: the most fun friend to have at houseparties, until the night 's over and he is the first one to leave before the cleaning start.
Tl;Dr: the guy you will be wingin all night, but doesn't help you out in return.
