Ok so my babies mother left me. I didn't react to any of her crappy voicemails or text messages.

The part that I need help with...

She left messages of the kids saying "come pick me up daddy". Then she would leave messages saying come get your kids, come see your kids, your missing your kids growing up, etc.

So I finally get my new apartment ready for them and told her I'm picking them up this weekend on Friday after work. She knows I work till 7pm every Friday night. It's a 1.5 hour drive there.

She sends me message a few minutes ago saying, "If you really want your kids friday you need to pick them up before 6. thanks"

How the hell do I respond to this game. I wanna see my fucking kids. She kept begging me to see them then I say I will see them then pulls the rug by saying I have to be there when I can't possibly be there.

I know this is a game. How to I beat this shitty shit test this nutty bitch is putting up so I can get my fucking kids???

That's not a shit test, it's a major life problem.

You need a lawyer. She already has the upper hand because she is a woman and (from what it seems) has been taking care of the kids.

Save the messages, and see if you can get text records from the phone company. If not, save the texts too.

Ask yourself this: if she knows you can't possibly be there until 8:30pm on Fridays, then why would she tell you to pick the kids up at 6pm?

The woman is playing mind games with your kids by having them say "come pick me up daddy" and setting them up to think that you did not care enough to come see them, when in reality SHE is the reason they are not seeing you.

If you do nothing, she will have no reason to stop playing games with your children. At the very least, go see the kids whenever you can, even if it is after 6pm on Friday.

If you are wise, you will get a lawyer.

If anything, I answer far too many questions in far too much detail. Sometimes it's better if I make people work for the answer. But the problem here is you're asking the wrong questions. So sure, if the question is "can I have a melon?" and you think the answer is a broom, you're going to be disappointed.

So start asking the right questions. Be more open minded. You asked "how do I pass this shit test?" Answer: it's not a shit test, she's just fucking with you. Q: why? A: because she can get away with it. Some girls just like to fuck with you. The reason doesn't matter. Q: What do I do in response? A: Get a lawyer and get a court order for visitation rights that are spelled out in detail. Be prepared to meet her halfway. If she says 6PM and you can't get there before 8, be prepared to meet at 7 and get off work early.

Sometimes they don't give up. You've been on the internet enough to know the old saying, "Don't feed the trolls." Some trollish people like to get you upset, they want to get a rise out of you. Some give up at that point. Some people are mental and just won't stop fucking with you. They're only happy when they get you upset.

Now on the other hand, I want you to consider that her request might be reasonable. Seeing your kids late on a friday night at 8 instead of 6 might really be a problem, how old are your kids? What's their bedtime? Lots of kids get cranky as bedtime approaches, maybe she just wants you to have quality time, which might be between 6 and 8, not 8 and 10. I'm not going to tell you what to do, I just think you should get your priorities clear. There is a possibility that you could make it a priority to get off work early and make the 6PM appointment. I usually make an attempt to compromise and split the difference.

This seems odd as not everything she does to gain a reactionary response deals with the kids. I sent her pictures of the kids room and she said she wanted her puzzle back that was on the wall that she had given to me as a gift. Then asked about the boys room which isn't legally my responsibility at all or genetically mine. No response yet still does this shit.

I had two guy friends do similar things. I figured out how to fix those situations yet I am unable to figure out how to with this woman as it is a much more sensitive operation than dealing with men.

Those that are curious...

Guy friend I played pool with was short money. I made a joke about the money and he got angry and defriended me. In doing so he started pesterting me with insults and having his friends insult me when I was out and about. I never reacted at all to any of it. Then a friend of mine (same guy in the next story) was out with me at a bar drinking and asked the guy that pestered me (while this guy was shitfaced) why he bugged me. The response? "He won't talk to me. I just wanted to be his friend." Yet this is the guy that defriended me (not a facebook thing) and bugged me for a year. So I said fuck it and bought a round for myself, him, and the other buddies. Now we play pool and talk again. (not sure why the fuck he did all that)

Another friend and myself started a little business or were going to. He got upset at how I was running things as I was the one who funded the project. Long story short he hated me, harrased me for two months online and in real life, etc. I get tired of it and call him and say hey... I'm not sure why you are mad so why don't you tell me what I did that upset you or that you didn't agree with. So he did. Then every talking point he had I went through calmy and tactfully to explain my reasoning and that I meant no harm and only good. Resulted in him being my friend again and helping me move my furniture into my new apartment and playing pool again.

So... Both people harassed the shit out of me for seamingless no reason although their motive was: hurt, and wanting to still be friends but couldn't get past the hurt feelings. Although both situations were where they fucking left the friendship.

So my theory on this is... she is feeling similar. She wants back but is hurt. Getting her here to fix the situation is a bitch. I still have to see my kids and legal action will only fuck things up and exaserbate the situation at this point where neither of us have funds to do such a thing. She still considers the boy mine even though she knows he is not but knows I love him. If she really wanted to hurt me she would take him away and tell him that I am not dad. So some points to good some to not good. This is why I am taking this shit as tests until I find a way to get her here. I only need one visit to clear things up.

Maybe now you see where I am coming from. If not that is fine too.
