I just come straight out and say "Let's do X on Y at Z time" after 2 or 3 messages usually. Has worked out pretty well for me so far. Some of them are definitely a hassle to work with though.

After your opener share some witty banter and then get off Tinder quickly. No more than 10 messages should be exchanged when you suggest coffee/drinks. If you can make it come out naturally as a part of the conversation, that's better. But you can do that with any conversation by conveying, "I'd like to hear more about that interesting topic, how about coffee Thursday around 8," in your own words. People will turn you down, that's fine. If they turn you down, they were going to turn you down after 2 days of exchanging messages as well. There's 2 kinds of girls on Tinder; the ones that will go out with you and the ones that won't. The ones that won't may match with you. They may respond to your messages. Hell, they may even say yes when you ask. But there's many reasons girls use Tinder. Whether it be attention, validation, fun, or something else; those who are both attracted to you and looking to seriously date already know if they want to go on a date with you from from the very first message you send. So you're screening by asking sooner. And lets be honest, you're probably a cool, interesting, and fun loving guy; but all that gets lost sometimes in text only conversations. Nobody is cool and mysterious after 2 days of texting back and forth. Even girls who would have said yes initially will start to become disinterested as the conversation drags on. It's like pulling a wet blanket over a flame. Get to the date ASAP so you can really demonstrate who you are and capitalize on that spark.
