How does the game change if it's with someone you see regularly?

I got a date with a girl I was doing a group project with at my college. We walked back from the library to the dorms together. She mentioned that she was hungry for such and such restaurant and I said we should go because I have a car.

I don't think it changes. You just have to be confident and change venues to something more date-like.

I usually take it slow in these situations, but try to establish good rapport early on. Every time I meet them I try to let them know more about me by telling stories or things like that. Then casually get their number. If they found you interesting they would agree to meet you.

You want to establish yourself as fun and show intent very early. Time is your enemy with women, because over time they will silo you into one category or another.

Additionally, try to meet up with her outside of class with a quickness, otherwise her brain is going to subconsciously associate you with the class environment and seeing you outside of there is going to get to be more of a mental stretch for her.

I had a friend who used to show up to the first class every year with a mixed drink in a 20oz Coke bottle, then sit next to the hottest girl he could find. She would eventually smell it, maybe want some, and before you know it they were in on a little joke together, doing something a little bad. I don't necessarily recommend exactly that, but it's the idea.

It just helps. No approach anxiety. You can bring up an ongoing joke any time, and everything just feels less forced.

It's a pretty ideal way to start something with a girl imho.

It just means that you establish yourself over time. Do not rush into anything aggressive. This is for two reasons:

Because you can. You'll be seeing her again. The longer you can stretch the process out, the less needy/desperate/horny you are going to seem. Every time you meet, you can give a general vibe of "Yeah, I don't need to see you again," and every time you will see her again anyway. Also, she'll take it as compliment that you're investing time in her.
Because if anything goes wrong, it's going to be awkward in the future. This matters both to what you will personally have to deal with and what she might be worried about. I know girls who deliberately don't date within their weekly meet-up groups because they fear ruining that environment for themselves.

Something that I dont think many people do in general is ask the question "When this ends what position, or positions, will I be in?" Then you draw up a best case scenario and a worst case scenario. How long will the two of you be attending the organized activity? Is it a semester or is this part of your job? Are there other social concerns like mutual friends?

This is why dating someone with a lot of close friends is sticky, or dating in the workplace can get very complicated. Some people crave that security but there is a cost when it backfires. Awkward for a few months is different than working with awkwardness for the next three years.

Means you can get to know her, but you'll need to define the relationship more. Tell her you're dating etc and try to find out about her situation. Then invite her to do things you're already doing (i.e. I'm going surfing this weekend at X beach, a lot of times they'll invite themselves after that). Have an interesting life and talk about it, people are attracted to interesting people.

Just make sure you stay in Alpha mode when you are around her in the activity. Don't pay her too much attention, talk to other girls in front of her, but give her some glaring eye contact and a smile
