Playful teasing is one of the pillars of my game. Ever since I heard about cocky and funny from David DeAngelo, I fell in love with the concept (probably because it's something I did naturally for a long time). It's not the be-all, end-all of game, but it's something that I do a lot.

I've recently been trying to push it a lot further, because I think it's fucking hilarious when I get away with calling a girl a cunt or a whore. It's always done in a joking, playful (but half-serious) manner. Just enough seriousness, just enough playfulness.

Something I've been toying with recently is doing fake apologies. Say, I make a really outlandish comment, like I call her a cunt or a bitch. She'll give me a playful "hey, what the fuck!?" So, I'll respond, "sorry, I didn't mean to call you a cunt, but you were acting pretty cunt-y". Or, let's pretend I call her mean for doing something. Maybe I'll call her a huge bitch or something. She might try to qualify herself, "No, shutup! I'm really not that mean!" And I'll reply, "hah, sorry, I know under that cold exterior, there's an even colder interior".

It shouldn't have to be said that I'm making these comments when I know for sure that there's enough comfort between me and the girl. That there's an unsaid acknowledgement that we're both just joking around, and that I'm not actually being serious. Maybe someone like RSD Julien could say this kind of shit as an opener, but not me (at least for now).

David DeAngelo ... cocky & funny ... yeah, it works great IF they know it's a joke. You HAVE to be sure about that.

Example:

Took my Great Danes into the pet store, female employee says "Hey, what kind of dogs are those?" and I replied "You work HERE and don't know what kind of dogs they are?" and laughed. From there we had many great dates ...
