Well I go to the university of Miami and you hookup with girls you meet at parties or live in your building for the most part.
This school is tough and competitive. Classes are for learning not flirting. If you hookup with someone from class it was because you sat near each other and shared notes and started studying and then hooking up.
But if you want the quick hookup game the girl in the elavator, and invite her to stop by your room while she’s on the way to hers.

Well for us is a school with 18,000 students and we all live very very close to each other so yeah parties every day. Keep in mind in the states college is roughly the age 18-22 with no parents or rules.

Yeah usually people have houses they live in together and they throw parties. The best ones always come from the sports team (baseball party, football party...) or from frat parties. Frats for us are like 80 dudes living in one massive house that’s on campus and they have no rules and usually a cop is outside the whole time making sure theirs no huge emergencies or fights or anything like that.
We all have fake IDs so we go to clubs but house parties are way for fun since it’s just adolescences being complete drunk idiots

In Europe (I'm from western Europe) I believe the college culture is much more bar / nightlife oriented than in the US, where the majority takes place in dorms / frat houses / etc. Since the drinking age is 18, and all that.
Parties, at least in my experience, generally happen if you know people that throw them. But even private parties usually dissolve before midnight and migrate to the bars / clubs.
I'd say in my country at least, college isn't exactly needed to find partners, since everyone can go to bars at night and find beautiful, young women, where in the US I imagine college plays a larger role, for a certain age range (18-21). Just my guesses anyways.

I would say it's a big element. I think when it works best is when you are in the different social groups amongst the students. It's definitely possible to hook up with people in your class, I think it just depends on what type of class. If the class has a lot of group interaction, that helps. Otherwise you can still do it it's just more akin to a cold aporoach. People are young and generally single so it's a great place to be, although you have to make effort and be social it's not guaranteed you will get girls in college.
