I'd move away from routine stacks and focus more on building habits.

The difference is this: a routine stack is static. You come in knowing what you're going to say. The conversation becomes a decision tree (if she says this, then I say this, bla bla bla) I'd avoid that.

But conversations DO take familiar turns, and it'd be silly to deny that we spend a huge chunk of our lives living out habits. If I extend my hand to introduce myself, you extend yours back without thinking. So basically you want to train your habits to be ones that serve you. Capish?

She's going to ask you where you're from, what you do, how old you are. Boring habitual answers would be something like "Philadelphia. Consultant. 22." So think of ways to share more about yourself than a surface level answer would allow. Those answers are not a routines per se. They are common conversational themes that will allow you to tell her why and how you're awesome.

And yes, openers are important. Most men don't start conversations with women unless they're shitfaced. If you want to get good, you're going to need to start conversations as soon as you see a girl you want. And if you're new, your adrenaline will be pumping and fucking with your head. So it's helps to know that even when you're brain shuts down, all you need to say, for example, is "Hey I don't think I've met you yet. I'm [your name]." Call it an opener if you want. The important thing is just to kill the "But what do I say?" excuse.

Canned routines are fine, if you make your own.

Negging is still relevant, but I think most of us refer to it as teasing now because a lot of people misunderstood negs as just insults, which they're not.

Is negging still relevant thing or have people outgrown it now?

Negging, as it was described in the past, is shitty. Some people still do it, but the better thing, one of the best things you can do, is tease properly. However being able to tease properly is about confidence, comedic timing, and reading the person. If you can read the person you can know what lines to cross or not cross, if you have confidence everything sounds good, and if you have the comedic timing, they will play along with the teasing banter which works out great for you.

Never insult a target's friend. It's not going to help you.
