A couple of days before school was about to close, I decided to talk to a couple of girls and get their numbers just for practice. But there was this one girl in particular that I was really interested in but instead of getting her number, I bitched out and ended up giving her mine. I pretty much took it as a failure and moved on. Then, a couple of days ago ( a month after I gave her my number), I all of a sudden received a text from her, "Heyy, it's [confidentiality censor]." I texted back, and we pretty much had a back and forth conversation the entire day.

So now to my two questions: 1.) How often should I text this girl to keep her interested and 2.) Is there anyway I can tell if she's actually attracted to me or am I just her "gay text buddy?"
