Woman suggests men pay for dates. Why am I not surprised?

If you do want to see her again, go through the routine of “I’ll get this one, you can get the next one”. Then don’t let her pay for the next one either. Chicks like guys with money. It’s that simple.

Always pay for dates, and you only get women that like you for your money.

Pretty solid article. I didn't see anything that I really disagreed with. I would add something, though. Here's a paragraph from the article:

Ask more questions and talk less. People inherently love talking about themselves. Asking her lots of questions will make you appear engaged and interested.

Asking questions is good, but cold calling with direct statements is better. Instead of asking the question you're thinking of you guess the answer yourself. Some examples:

Instead of asking "Where are you from?" you say "I notice you've got a bit of an accent. You sound like you're from the midwest."
Instead of asking "Do you go to school?" you say "You look studious. I'll bet you go to the university."
Instead of asking "How long have you and friend known each other?" you say "You two act like you've known each other a long time."

There is no downside to doing this. If you're wrong, she'll simply correct you or she'll ask how you came to that conclusion. If you're right, she'll be impressed by how perceptive you are.

Women love men who “listen” to them. Asking questions forces you to listen. Asking a lot of questions also exudes confidence because it prevents you from appearing like a nervous person who tries to fill in silence by yammering about nothing.

This part is very true. On an average first date, I'll probably do about 25% of the talking and she'll do about 75%, yet I've had multiple women compliment me on how good of a conversationalist I am. Funny how that works.

This article was shallow and not wholly optimistic. "People love talking about themselves" - I read a lot of pessimism in this post. Wonder why.
