Hello, all. I've been taken aback many times by the fact that I will text a girl a few times, and talk/hang out with her a few times, then when I run into a mutual friend of her's, and ask that mutual friend about the other girl, the other girl will usually say "who is that?" (referring to me of course) when they ask her how she knows me. That has led me to question why she would deny knowing me or forget me. Conclusion is that I did not demonstrate value. What you should always, ALWAYS, ALWAYS do it throw in a MINI, FUNNY story that demonstrates the values you want to portray about yourself.
