I want to train but I dont have mich opprtunities. I've read multiples times that etablishing an eye contact is a good signal to see if a girl could be interested. I tried to just randomly talk to girls and it was a disaster of awkwardness so I want to focus more about eye contact first.

But i'm trying since 2 week now and nothing happens, neither they don't hold it (less than one second) or she just don't look at my direction .

For the record, I think my clothing are close to "classy" (requirement for my job), my hairs are cut and same for the beard (my beard and hair are ugly). I say that just to point out that i'm presentable.

More details about how, I'm trying to eye contact :

  • i place myself at reasonnable distance, if I'm to close it's creepy.
  • I try to look relaxed, no hard focus on the look
  • i'm aiming to hold the eye contact for like 3 secs and then looking away. (Never happened)

Should I add a hand sign or something ? It feels weird Am i doing something bad ?
