You're lost, so let's get you back on track. First, you're always giving emotions. People's emotions transfer to each other -- they're contagious. It just sounds like you're giving off the wrong emotions, if your goal (or one of your goals) is to become more successful with women. Next, you're trying way to hard (this is part of the same problem). I guarantee that women are picking up on this as well. This sub-communicates that you believe she has more value than you do in a social hierarchy. That's not attractive to women. They want to date someone they value. In truth, a couple should value each other, but for different reasons. Let's clarify something that I know will be helpful for you. Attraction is based upon a perception of value. When we perceive something (or someone) as valuable we're drawn to it (or them). It doesn't matter why we perceive someone or something as valuable. What's more important is that we understand how this process works and recognize when its happening. That way we can replicate its effects to get consistent and predictable outcomes. What a person will perceive as valuable depends upon the needs and values of the person perceiving it. For example, if you need sex, you're going to perceive sex as more valuable than someone who doesn't need sex (in that moment). Humor is attractive (or valuable) for many reasons. If a person is funny, their status increases in a group (again what is valuable to a person, or group of people, is based upon the needs and values of the group). People value humor for a variety of reason, one of which is because people tend to value positive feelings. People who are deemed funny are able to consistently create positive feelings within a group. This skill increases their status within a group (when positive emotions are valued and scarce). If you want to be funny, you have to become less constrained by the judgement of others. Especially in situations in which you feel someone has power over you because they have something that you want. Also, humor is only one of many ways to attract women. As long as you have something women need or value, they'll become attracted to you. Seduction is different than attraction. That's an entirely different post. My most important recommendation is figure out your values. Who are you? What do you value? And what do you want? Be yourself, and pursue these things. As your mass increases, the planets will fall into orbit. If you have questions, please ask.

You need to work on your "inner game." Basically you need to cultivate a sense of confidence, a sense of self worth, and in your case, sounds like a sense of humor.

You can follow a lot of guides on here and the internet in general but if you don't start fixing yourself and making yourself who you want to be a priority, then you will never keep a girl after your facade falls away.
