I need advice for a straight girl in college. I'm not too unattractive considering the types I go for, nor am I uninteresting/lacking a sense of humor. However, I cannot talk about myself comfortably or in a manner that doesn't bore. My way of interacting with others has naturally always been to get other people to talk about themselves. Turns out this doesn't work with quiet guys (I tend to like quieter guys, they come across smarter) and I assume this is because they use the same strategy I do. Neither of us really ends up knowing what to say, even if it's obvious we're both interested. My main fear is that I don't want them to feel like I'm interviewing them, but I want to get to know them. If I keep asking questions will they think I'm interviewing them? How can I get people to talk about themselves if they are nervous or not used to it?
