How to not over text?

Text should be... 1) short 2) confident 3) moving toward the next hurdle..like meeting up, sex, w/e happens to be next in your escalation

I personally dont subscribe to the idea that 'texts should only set up a date/escalate/whatever' I just like to talk to them about whatever, it makes it easier to make inside jokes, and (like in your case) schedules rarely line up for people our age, and so we end up in positions where the fire could fizzle out, but I do have a tendency to respond to texts immediately/overtext. I addressed this by changing up how I respond. Now when I get a message I'll write a response almost right away, but then I'll close my phone and go back to whatever I was doing, then 5-15min I'll open it back up and send it.

A lot of people here will most likely disagree with me about text conversations, but just remember there is no guaranteed method to 'text game' just do what feels natural.

Make a date where you offer to go pick her up. Agree to a date and time. Then don't text her anymore until the date arrives. Most likely she will be the one texting you asking some shit like "heeey, are we still going on that date". That's when you text her: "of course, milady, I am a man of my words. See you at X".
