How to start the dance floor interaction?

I pretty much did dance floor game every weekend when I lived in South Florida for about 9 months.

Firstly, anyone that's telling you to initiate by talking doesn't know what their talking about. It's all emotion and body language. You get in there high energy, genuinely have fun and start dancing, then you spot your girl and draw her close to your body (from the front). Her reaction to you is an indicator of how sexual and physical you can get with her. If you're gonna talk keep it short and sweet. And if you have a table you're fucking golden, you have real estate, bring them to your table. If it's a random chick not on the dance floor(+ her friends) just do your opener, tell her you have a table with your friends and escort her there. It's almost certain they'll come if it's a group of 2-3 girls.

Get on the dance and look around. Any hot girl you see make eye contact with them and hold it. If they look at you and look away, find someone else. They stare back, go up to them and do some brief talking maybe then dance. That's how I go about it.

Another thing - I'll be at a table one night with some friends who will probably be content with sitting around with the bros...so it might be up to me to find some girls to come over and join us. Is this as easy as wondering off to the bar and asking them to join our party? Motioning a few girls over from our table? Picking girls up on the dance floor and bringing them back to the table? This all seems so different to me

It's good to ask her name because that shows you're interested in more than her body. I'm not suggesting you start a lengthy conversation on the dance floor, because that never works, but by talking to her you will gain her attention a lot more. My experience is that when a girl approaches me on the dance floor I have had a hard time making her stay by simply engaging her physically, but that may just be me and my terrible dance moves.

In loud clubs, it's best to do it non-verbally. You can escalate really far on the dance floor without talking. Never approach a girl from the back, always from the front. One way is to just stretch out your hand for the girl to grab, and if she does, spin her. Then start dancing.

I'm headed to Vegas next weekend and it's really the only time I go clubbing so I'm kind of new to this. I'm a pretty decent looking guy, confident, wear nice clothes, and I feel like this works to my advantage at clubs.

Being "decent looking" and wearing "nice clothes" don't really factor into this as much as you'd think.

What matters is, so you enjoy the music that a venue is playing? And do you enjoy dancing?

In other words, are you able to have your own fun there, or are you dependent on what others do to have fun?

I'm vegas I feel like the dynamic is a bit different - I find myself traversing through the dance floor and girls will brush up against me or come and dance next to me.

You're asking how to start an interaction..... This is part of the answer.

Sometimes they'll start it for you and all you have to do is get out of your own way and play it through to its conclusion. Sometimes it'll be a quick encounter only seconds long. Sometimes it'll lead into something.... Longer.

I guess my question is - if a girl brushes up against you, is the best move to throw your hand out for a dance or to whisper something along the "what's your name" line to start the interaction?

You're looking for a formula. No. such. thing. There is no "best move" here because there are so many different ways such a thing could move, depending on the people involved.

Just enjoy your time and go with the flow. If someone does something you may at least mirror what they did: meeting their actions with similar intensity.

But it really depends. You're going to have to experiment. Sometimes meeting with more energy is better. Sometimes hard to get it teasing is great. You can only decide based on a read of the girl, what would be most fun or effective.

So basically, you've asked for an encyclopedia of a response that no one here really has the time to craft for you unless we were under contract to write a book. :P

You're worrying too much. The wrong responses are doing nothing or worrying so much about what to do.

Thanks god someone posted this. I've lost so many chicks that start brushing against me or just looking at me all the time, because i don't know how to proceed
