Hi all,

I am 25 years old and consider myself socially compentent and am decently looking enough to get a girl if I put in the effort. Never had girlfriend and only had sex once in my life with a prostitute. My problem is that I'm nervous talking to strangers and meeting women so I try to remedy this by approaching during the day.

I'll be able to keep this up for 1-2 days straight and get some success and even learn a few things about myself. However, then I get caught up in a number of other things that make me forget to keep up with the process. A lot of it is work related stress. Other life factors contribute like minor family disputes (I live with them so can't get away from that) and other aspects of my life that I feel like I need to cater to within the week. I also have skills and hobbies that I am working on that are socially isolating so that keeps me from consistently working on my pickup.

Technically there's nothing physically keeping me from incorporating pickup in my life. I can do it while grocery shopping or on the commute. It's more of a mental blocker that I'm dealing with where I get so caught up with other things that pickup and approaching takes a backseat. My current level of approach anxiety also makes it difficult for me to divert the necessary energy during the day. I think one of my problems is that I over-stress/worry about all the things I do in life, not just pickup, and it leaves me feeling drained.

If there's anyone that has come across a similar problem or understands this situation enough to help out please leave suggestions in comments.

Thanks!
