First of all stop picking girls up for a date. Let them meet you there. picking her up , paying for the date, then taking her home? way too much investment take it easy there bud. Don't always go to a restaurant. Try a david busters, a bar, a grab and go kind of restaurant, a smoothie, an ice cream, then walk around somewhere. Make it simple. The conversation begins when you see her walking up. Give her a hug then walk in and start ordering. You can make jokes and shit while ya order How did you meet her? talk about how it was approaching her. Met her online? talk about how online is tough and ask what she deals with. Then you can move on to how your day was and her day. Its simple dude. She either starts talking about something for a minute then you can ask her a million different questions on what she just said to keep her talking, OR shes quiet and its hard to talk to her. Guess what? find someone else then. Go into the date with that mentality: I'll just find someone else if it doesn't work. If youre getting multiple dates then you should already be thinking that which should help you relax. IDGAF anymore since i can land dates easily.

it’s a first date so you can talk about any number of things,it’s expected y’all are going to get to know each other so it’s ok to be direct and ask about broad topics, like her background or her opinions about stuff

when you find a topic she wants to talk about ask follow up questions and relate yourself to the stories she tells and don’t be afraid to talk about yourself as long as it’s balanced

but keep everything light and fun, don’t be afraid to switch topics and keep up jokes all the way through. at dinner y’all can get to know each other and establish a report and some running jokes, then when your bowling and it’s more active you can call back to them

I’m preparing myself for a first date this week so this questions been living rent free in my head lmao. I was thinking this. Otw to restaurant, ask about day, ask about something she mentions in her day, and then ask about music selection and try to chill / share music. Then at restaurant, discuss things like what do they like to do in their spare time (are they a fitness freak or student? Worker bee maybe?) ask about some interesting things that line up with their work. From there you guys can go into personal interests, and figure out what you guys like to do, figure out what family life is like, I always ask if they’re family oriented or not, and then discuss the food, what kind of food they go for, do they have any spots they recommend? By that time + eating and ordering the dinner is normally over. In the car I will discuss things I liked from our convos, plans for the week if I like the girl to see if she’ll open up her schedule for me, and then also maybe try to fit in that you’d like to see her again as you are dropping her off. Always wait for her to text after the date. If she’s interested she’ll text.
