I’m similar to you (incoming freshman), but I’d say to avoid trying to cold approach girls on campus. You may be seen (after a few approaches) as the “pick up guy/creep” if you simply walk up to girls, call them cute, do a little conversation and go for number close. That is not a reputation I’d want to have, so what I plan to do is simply strike conversations with girls without the intention of going for a number close at the end after the first convo. That’s just me though.

Simply be social, if you're the guy whose friends with everyone girls usually have crushes on you out of nothing so you can flirt or tease but don't be that sexual if you don't wanna be that creepy guy who just hit up on girls, ofc if you invite someone 1v1 you can do whatever you want but in those social circle situations being direct can backfire youz

Ok, hear me out...

First, you gotta get your inner game tight and worked-out!

Write down on a few pages what your #1 goal is for your life

Also , write down what would be THE BEST possibility in the world for a 1 night stand, a 1 week fling and of course, a lifelong relationship. I mean THE BEST, not so-so, write down the number 1 best possibility for the most amazing mind blowing experience ever.

Then, make sure you are living an excellent life, taking care of your body, making money (or trying to), etc.

This will make it much easier to approach and begin an excellent conversation.

Also, keep in mind that the more sets you open, the more chances you create for achieving these best possibility goals (or even better).

Be bright, sober, and early. Avoid scandal and over reach. If some girl or social org picks you during O-week, know you have passed the immemorial test and will never want unduly for sex. After Oweek people get more desperate until a little after Halloween and then finals is crazy again. Focus on getting your sophomore self consistent good parties over banging the most drunk chicks before everyone sobers up and starts getting serious.
