You are giving her one instead of many options. This communicates dominance. Giving one instead of many options, is of course also less needy, because one option increases the chance, that she does not have time. Therefore you imply, that you are not needy. Also, you should make it easy for a maybe girl to say yes. If she is interested, but only has time on a different spot, she will tell you.

"Let me know when you’re free next week and we’ll go do something.”

This implies: "Let me know when you're free, because I'm afraid to miss one of the spots, you are offering to me. I don't want to miss one opportunity, because meeting you is important to me."

Therefore your line is rather needy and not dominant.
