First, know that sexting and flirting arnt the same. While flirting can get wild with inuendo and sexual puns etc, sexting is literally enacting sexual acts in a text based chat, possibly interleaved with the sending of explisit pictures.. Second, know that some ppl just arnt into sexting, like me for example. I find it awkward and childish and not at all arousing. I would therefore first find out if he wants to flirt by putting some statements that have double meanings, followed by smirk emoji to gie a hint that you know it has a double meaning. After a few of those, he will answer in kind. When/if he does, make sure to give him a good response to award his courage. If not he may be too shy and /or does not feel up for it for some reason. It could be that he just doesnt like you that way. If he is too shy, you can tell by seeing if he turns red and sweaty in person.

Yeah I have a guy friend who’s hopeless at initiate sexting lol.

I just try to slip in a sexual joke every once and a while and then it can just kick off from there. Don’t be afraid to just say fuck it and do something mad haha If he doesn’t respond well just laugh it off Keep it casual and relaxed

he never brings up the sex topic. Like, never

You can bring it up slowly and see if he responds to anything, then escalate... obviously these things have to be in some current context..... "I need to turn up the heat, its cold in here and my nipples are getting firm". "I just put on a top and its see through, you can see my bra through it". "I have to go shopping, I haven't bought any thongs lately". "I can't find a place to get my brazillian wax, with Covid going on". Would the guy respond to any of these things and escalate?

And/or .. randomly send some sexy pic.. doesn't have to be nude... that should start a good conversation
