There's a cute girl in one of my classes that's about to end so I'll most likely never see her again - now's my time to make a move...but she's extremely shy. We've smiled at each other a few times but she's hardly said a word to anyone, and English isn't her native tongue so she seems a bit self conscious about that.

I was a bit conflicted about whether I should bother because I want someone who I can have good banter with, but she's very cute and seems like a nice person so I might as well see if I can get her talking.

But I'm not sure how... I don't want to put her on the spot, but I'm not sure what we have in common (besides the class)

How do you guys connect with really shy girls? Do you bother?
