Met a HB9 at a bar about a month ago. #-closed her and then commenced text "game" (before I read Reddit sidebar text game). She seemed to have lost interest about 2 weeks in (couldn't nail down plans - I work 80 hrs/week and she was wrapping up a movie).

I randomly email her (she also gave me her email) a week ago and give her some shit for never emailing me a list of restaurants she reccomends.

She apologized when she wrote back and included the list with little notes about each one - one note stood out, it said "i've never been here but want to try it."

I responded with "Awesome, thanks! I'll take you to XX restaurant (one she hadn't been to) @ 9pm on Wednesday." She replied "OK! Can't wait!"

Then I get a call today while at the gym that she "can't make it because she's swamped with school work. She can drop everything and still come out for drinks if I wanted."

I said, "Don't worry about it, finish your work."

She said, "ok, can do you have plans tomorrow?"

"yes, I'm going to NYC for work."

"Oh, ok...when do you come back, how about next week."

Me, "Sure, sounds great - I'll talk to you next week."

Get a text 30 minutes later that I didn't respond to.

"Thanks again for understanding, looking forward to next week."
