Girl here. Hugs aren't a bad thing, and neither is the "friendzone." In fact, most of the guys I've dated started out as a friend and you'll find a lot of women in that boat.

No it does not. little things like that are not that big of a deal.

Im no pro. but i can probably answer you some questions if you would like.

Now if you are interested in learning how to become successful with women and improving your self id like to say this:

the Game is a fantastic book, and i think it can be useful to learn about techniques, but it is bad to rely on them only. I think you should finish the book and you will learn good stuff, but it is not a good way to do things, (after all the book does start out with Mystery in an mental instate because he had a break down.) Also the model presented in that book about value is out of date and wrong. (value does= attractiveness, but like all the shit about giving your value way is not exactly accurate, there are much better models now)

in the book there is a character named Tyler Durden, and you will not approve of his actions. remember that he is 20 and immature at the time the book was written, he is 34 now and not like that. In my opinion he really is the best resource after you finish the book out should check out his youtube channel RSDTyler. (RSDJulian provides good information but he is a dick, and would really not recomend being a dick since that is wrong. but there is lots of good info in there)

also read the side bar. lots of good info in there.

after you get a understanding if you want relationships you should read Models by Mark Manson. it is not that great for getting girls but has good relationship stuff. (also he hates on the other methods he said he did that the distance him self from the PUA seen as a marketing tactic.)

after you have a working understanding of this stuff, you you want to really improve your self, and learn how your mind workes watch the blueprint (book) or the Blueprint Decoded (video) by RSDTyler. its the shit!

all of this knowledge is completely useless. unless you go out and actually practice. just knowing it will give you ZERO IMPROVEMENT.

Hugs are one of the most important parts of my game. Every damn time you see them you should embrace them. Drop your purse and squeeze the crap out of them like a man. Make them feel safe.

When I'm about to hug people and I feel the awkward tension I tell them "Hug or nothing!"

Absolutely no to hugging putting you in the friendzone. Only going as far as hugging her? That'll put you in the friendzone.

I think hugging a girl upon meeting her is vital to putting your mind (Her's as well) on the right path. I would even call it a "kino warm up". I make sure to hug a girl I'm seeing as soon as I see and her and right before her leaves (if there's no close obviously)

It's one of the easiest ways to initiate contact. I am not a big talker so physical contact is vital in my game.
