I’ve never been good with women. I am 18 and just finishing high school. I have been researching about cold approach and I really like the idea, I mostly watch Tusk’s vids on YouTube.

Last Thursday, i approached 2 girls at a commercial center. The first one was waiting for an Uber, I said hello and gave her a compliment. She liked and I kept the conversation asking about her. I finally asked for her number and she said she had a boyfriend, i understood and bid her a good night. Ps: She was 21.

The second one didn’t even start, not sure if I can call it an approach. I saw her walking out of a store and approached, she said hi and then just walked away without me even giving her a compliment.

I felt bad and left afterwards. I known it’s hard and it’s gonna happen a lot, but it still felt bad. Anyways, I liked the experience overall and I’ll surely keep doing it.

Some problems i found:

  • With the first girl, I kept the conversation, but quickly ran out of things to say. I know it was the first time, still, I don’t want that to be a problem. Anyways, I felt the conversation was too short and i asked for her number too soon.

  • I live in Costa Rica, Central American nation. Because of the way our city was built, there aren’t many places to walk by and everyone travels in car. Last Thursday I went to a small mall, but I quickly felt like I was stalking and lurking the place, which wasn’t nice. I have been thinking of going the the bigger malls.

  • I am only 18. So most of the girls i see are probably older than me.

Anyways, I just wanted to share my experience and ask for some friendly advice. I know I’m only starting yet, and that I’m gonna get rejected a lot.

Any tips are welcome :)
