This is a story that happened to me a few semesters ago. I've been wanting to talk this one girl at school for a while and finally decided I'm going to make a move. I see a girl who was wearing the same outfit and more or less the same build sitting at a bench with her face down in a book. I didn't see her face until I sat down and already said excuse me. This girl had the most yellow crooked teeth, an almost connected unibrow, and a bunch of acne scars. She was so excited to see me approach her like its was the first time a guy ever spoke to her. I just ended up asking her about her classes and then excused myself. While I was walking away she asked are you going to ask me for my number and I said no. I felt so bad.

I ended up avoiding the area of the school where I saw the ugly doppelganger as much as I could after that. I never ended up seeing the girl I did want to approach again. Lesson I learned approach early don't wait you might not get that chance again.
