I have found most success in opening with a pun or line and asking for their phone numbers right off the bat. If I don't do this, I usually get few word responses or something extremely boring, and I'm not about to force a conversation with these girls. Is this the only way to get though to meet in person? Talking about her interests or whatever just seems to produce the most boring answers.
